Sr. Java Developer with Enterprise Skills

The first assignment in this position will be onsite. But in future assignments, you will have the opportunity to work from home.
Skills:
- The right candidate should have eight to ten years of total experience developing applications in Java/C /Tibco, and at least 3-5 years in C world
- Candidate will primarily be working on analytics library, trade execution module, pricing module etc to re-design existing application in Java.
- The right candidate should also have prior experience working with a trading system.
- Prior work experience with Municipal business is a plus.
- Summary of minimum technology requirements:
- C: 3 to 5 years.
- Java, spring, hibernate 8 to 10 years
- Tibco RV/MQ: 3 to 5 years
- Solaris/Linux
- Sybase/Sql query 3 to 4 years
- Unix Scripting language/Shell/Perl
Requirements:
- Migrate existing Analytics library (written in C) to latest version.
- Develop Server side application using Core JAVA and C programming language.
- Enhance, maintain and test existing JAVA /C server side components.
- Understand and enhance trading system modules such as p&l server, reference data server etc.
- Optimize and tune existing modules for better performance.
- Contribute towards design and solutions by developing prototypes and proofs of concept
- Collaborate with extended development and QA teams in a different time zone
- Collaborate with QA team for deliverables
- Collaborate with Muni Users for UAT testing.

Education:
College degree is helpful; but not required. Real world experience is more important.

- Competitive rural market rates paid
- Stock option equity bonuses – Shareholder and Annual Bonuses. In 2009, bonuses were 10% of salary.
