Senior Middleware Administrator
Come join the Rural America Onshore Outsourcing team as a Senior Middleware Administrator! We have an immediate need for talented administrators. The first assignment in this position will be onsite. But in future assignments, you will have the opportunity to work from home.
Skills:
- Work with client teams to deliver business and technical solutions
- Build, maintain and manage the production, training, QA and load test environments so that they are available to their users in accordance with the scheduled plans
- Install upgrades to the application on the supported environments
- Build and maintain development-integration, training, QA, and production environments
- Provide software configuration management support
- Configure third party software in the supported environments in conjunction with development and architecture
- Provide on-call support of the environments
- Provide system monitoring support, analyzing and resolving issues
- Provide information regarding updates and changes required for the monitoring process
- Provide performance monitoring and measurement support
- Resolve errors in all environments – If the errors are not with the infrastructure, provide assistance to other teams to pinpointing the cause and resolve
- Provide support during pro-active or incident bridges to identify and resolve outages
Requirements:
- 2+ years Weblogic (8.x and above) administration experience
- 1-3 yrs experience in, Tuxedo (8.x and above) setup and administration
- 1-3 yrs experience in, MQ series, MQ Series, Siteminder, LDAP setup and administration
- 1-3 yrs experience in Unix shell, and Perl scripting
- 1-3 yrs experience in iPlanet setup and administration
- Available for shift work in support of 24/7 support environment
- On-call rotation required as scheduled
- Willing to work long hours and weekends
Preferences:
- Excellent technical problem solving techniques
- Unix (HPUX, Solaris, LINUX) operating system experience
- Knowledge of Wily Introscope, HP Diagnostics, J2EE concepts and performance tuning

Education:
College degree is helpful; but not required. Real world experience is more important.

- Competitive rural market rates paid
- Stock option equity bonuses – Shareholder and Annual Bonuses. In 2010, bonuses were 10% of salary.
