Java Developer
Come join the Rural America Onshore Outsourcing team as a Java Developer! We have an immediate need for talented developers. The first assignment in this position will be onsite. But in future assignments, you will have the opportunity to work from home.
Skills:
- Support production issues including ticket handling, defect resolution, and outages.
- Deployment support for new releases.
- Understand existing business processes of customer and map them to another domain
- Offer related data migration activities
- Advise BPT team and work together with them on data gathering and implementation.
- Understand data modeling.
- Understand and consult on the conversion rollout strategy and the impacts to the data gathering.
- Support and review the authoring of high level documents, detailed design documents, and other specs as needed.
- Provide detailed progress status reports.
- Identify and mange risks related to data gathering.
- Development and Implementation of EPC requirements.
Requirements:
- Strong Java skills
- 3-5 yrs experience with Java, SQL, Oracle, Toad, Unix commands, and BEA Weblogic

Education:
College degree is helpful; but not required. Real world experience is more important.

- Competitive rural market rates paid
- Stock option equity bonuses – Shareholder and Annual Bonuses. In 2009, bonuses were 10% of salary.
